Cecilia joined the CityNews Vancouver team in December of 2023. She grew up in Richmond but spent the seven years prior to joining the CityNews team living in New York City.
She received her bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism from New York University and got her first on-camera job as a Multimedia Journalist for News 12 The Bronx/Brooklyn, where she covered crime, culture, and community stories.
She's grateful to be back with her family and to continue telling impactful stories in her hometown.
When she is not in front of the camera, she's curled up with a good book and her cat, Taco.
