David grew up in Burnaby and started taking an interest in media after directing a radio drama in high school. He is a graduate of the BCIT Broadcast and Journalism program and enjoys connecting with new people every day as a journalist.
He has always enjoyed working with the human voice. From speech arts to audiobook narration to radio hosting, he has always appreciated the simple strengths of the spoken word.
David works as a weekend anchor and reporter at CityNews Vancouver, where he enjoys covering stories on the city's local art scene and library programs.
He dreams of one day writing a young adult book that captures the beauty and excitement of growing up on B.C.'s coast.
