VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - Vancouver Police say they have made three arrests in the February 1st stabbing death of a 21-year-old Tyson Edwards outside of Richards on Richards. Police say they received several tips from witnesses over the last 10 months and recently arrested a man in New Brunswick and two others in Calgary.
Carla Edwards, Tyson’s mother, says she’s encouraged by the arrests and pleads with more witnesses to come forward. She says it’s a difficult time for her family as Tyson would be celebrating his 22nd birthday next week. This will also be her first Christmas without her son.
Patrick Avery Plowman, 30, and 24-year-old Sebastian Lucas Miazga, both of Surrey, and Kalum Lather Cain, 25, of Ontario have been charged with manslaughter. Police say it appears the three left the province following the stabbing.
