Police arrest seven suspected Hells Angels in southern Ontario raids

Seven suspected members of the Hells Angels have been arrested in a series of raids today in Hamilton, Waterloo and Nanticoke.

The operation, dubbed Project Manchester, saw police conduct raids at five locations to conclude a year-long investigation.

Police seized weapons, a quantity of drugs and about $875,000 worth of vehicles and motorcycles.

One residence and three commercial properties in the Hamilton and Waterloo area were also seized during the raids.

The suspects arrested include five men from Hamilton: John Cane, 44; Joseph Cafagna, 35; David Behrens, 40; Luis Barberiz, 41 and David Lachapelle, 45.

Andre Watteel, 56, of Cambridge and Brandon Goodfellow, 26, of Nanticoke also face numerous charges.
