SURREY (NEWS1130): Two people have been airlifted to hospital after a major crash in Surrey on 176th Street near 40th Avenue. The accident happened at around 6 p.m., south of the Clover Valley area. Mounties say two people were ejected when the driver lost control and ended up in a ditch. The driver of the vehicle is believed to have life-threatening injuries. A passenger is expected to be okay. RCMP originally thought three people were in the car but now believe there were only two occupants. The crash has 176th Street closed in both directions between 40th Avenue and Highway 10 while Surrey RCMP investigates.
