Composite sketch released of man who tried to abduct young boy

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Vancouver Police have released a composite drawing of a man suspected of trying to abduct an 11-year-old boy Tuesday afternoon.
He’s described as white, in his 60s, approximately 5’7″ to 5’10” tall and overweight. He was wearing a white or grey long-sleeved shirt and possibly white pants.
The boy was walking alone in the area of Collingwood Street and West 11th Avenue when the man approached and attempted to grab him. Anyone with information is asked to call the VPD Special Investigation Section at 604.717.3473.
