Teenage girl attacked while walking home Monday night

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Vancouver Police are issuing a public warning after a 16-year old girl was assaulted while walking home in Kerrisdale Monday evening.  Fortunately, the girl was able to break free and the suspect ran away.

VPD say the girl was walking home from Point Grey Secondary School around 6:30 p.m.  As she walked along West 37th between Trafalgar and MacDonald she was grabbed from behind by a young man.  The suspect is described as 14 to 16 years old, about 5’4″ with a slim build.  He may have blonde hair, and was wearing dark pants and a black hoodie.
