By

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – RCMP say they have now identified the woman found dead this morning in Burnaby.  However, RCMP have not released her name, while they notify next of kin.

This morning, RCMP released a description of the woman, and pictures of jewellery she was wearing, in hope the public could assist in her identification.  The Asian woman, between 20 and 25 years old, was found by two good Samaritans who were driving along Rumble Street near Patterson just before 1 a.m.

She was taken to Burnaby General Hospital, where she died.  The cause of death is unknown but police say the circumstances are suspicious.

She is described as an Asian female with two non-descriptive scars on her left upper arm; approximately 5′ 8″, 125 lbs, with long black hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white zip-up hoody with a rose insignia on the front with black leggings and black suede ankle boots. She was wearing a silver heart pendent necklace (see photos).

Call Burnaby RCMP at 604-294-7741 if you have any information.
