VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Olympic line-ups still aren’t over. Get ready to wait if you want something from VANOC’s flea market of leftovers.

More than 220,000 items are up for grabs – from clothing and furniture to electronics and more than a few unused snow shovels.  Volunteers, employees and performers have first dibs this week, with the sale being open to the public on Saturday.

Each day 40 things are put out, meaning the good deals will not sell out right away, and the oversized garage sale will last into June.

Some sample prices: 200 dollars for a TV, 70 for a bullhorn, and a toonie for a windsheild scraper.

It runs daily from 9:00a.m. to 3:00p.m., at VANOC’s Delta warehouse – 7530 Hopcott Road.
