Senior male students planned on seducing grade eight girls

By

CLOVERDALE (NEWS1130) – Doug Strachan with the Surrey School District says some male students at Cloverdale’s Lord Tweedsmuir Secondary have apparently been playing a sleazy game. “The school came across some information from a student on Facebook that there seemed to be some sort of game or competition between the senior students to seduce grade eight girls.”

Strachan adds they didn’t waste time dealing with this. “The school acted quickly to let parents know and to held some information sessions for the male students in grades 11 and 12 and grade eight girls to educate them.”

The district has sent letters home with students telling them about the game. The girls met with reps from SafeTeen who talked to them about self-respect and how to handle uncomfortable situations while the RCMP plans to meet with boys in grades 11 and 12 and warn them of the legal implications of the scheme. No girls appear to have been seduced by the boys.
