Man charged in G20 security case to remain behind bars

By

TORONTO, Ont. – A man who faces G20-related weapons and explosives charges will be in jail for at least another two nights, after making a court appearance on Wednesday.

Another bail hearing for Bryon Sonne has been scheduled for Friday, as there is a high volume of material that officials need to examine prior to the court date.

Police allege 37 year old Sonne possessed explosives and intimidated a justice system participant.

Meanwhile, friends and family continue to rally around him since he was arrested last Tuesday. His parents – identified as potential sureties – and his brother were at the courthouse for Wednesday’s hearing.
