VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Vancouver Park Board commissioners and the public are discussing one of the attractions at the Vancouver Aquarium Monday night.
Commissioners are considering a motion to put the issue of whales and dolphins in captivity to the public during next year’s civic election.
Twenty speakers are expected at the meeting. The motion was brought forward by Commissioner Stuart MacKinnon after the death of one-year-old Nala, a beluga, at the aquarium last month.
