We could soon hear from Robert Pickton himself

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The one person we haven’t heard from yet is Robert Pickton himself. All most of us have ever seen are the same grainy images played over and over again on T.V. of Pickton on his pig farm.
That is expected to change within a few days, with the public release of the video taped statements he gave. As the curtain is lifted on all the evidence we never heard, we also learn Robert Pickton’s rights were breached.
Today’s Vancouver Sun describes at least six breaches that happened during the initial search of Pickton’s property, and extended to taped confessions in his cell.
The paper points out you may not care about the rights of a killer, but Pickton’s defense team built its arguments on those breaches, arguing the jury shouldn’t hear about what was found when his rights were infringed.
