VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – There is speculation some major changes are coming to the B.C. Lions, with the Internet buzzing Wally Buono may have coached his last game for the team.

However, News1130 has spoken with Buono who says he is not stepping down as coach and is looking ahead to the Leos’ next game Friday.  He says he’s happy with the team and wants to turn them around.

Buono adds he has spoken with defensive end Ricky Foley and Ryan Grice-Mullen, hinting if those two players decide to come back to the CFL after being released by their NFL clubs — they are welcome.

It’s unlikely Buono will be fired; he has the support of owner David Braley, who has always said, ‘If Wally leaves, it will be on his own doing.’

The team has just one win in eight games, as they get ready to face the Montreal Alouettes and Toronto Argonauts in the next two matches.  We could see this team go 1 and nine and with just 10 games left this season, a major shakeup is desperately needed.
