Giants gear up for Winterhawks

PORTLAND, OR. (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Giants try for their second win of the WHL season, when they continue their first road trip with a stop in Portland tonight.
The G-men are coming off a 5-2 loss to the Everett Silvertips over the weekend, which saw the Giants give up four goals in the second period.
Vancouver will try to spoil the Winterhawks’ home opener as Portland looks for its first win of the campaign.
The puck drops at 7 p.m. News1130 Sports will have all the latest at :15 and :45.
