Canucks ready to attack the Sharks

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Canucks continue their pre-season, playing the first of back to back games against the Sharks tonight at Rogers Arena.  The team is looking to rebound from that embarrassing 8-2 loss Sunday against the Oilers.

Cody Hodgson will play for the second game in a row, slotted in on the right wing and playing with Ryan Kesler and Mason Raymond.

Cory Schneider gets the start in net, with Roberto Luongo dealing with a groin injury.  Luongo likely won’t play again until the last pre-season game, Friday against the Anaheim Ducks.

The puck drops at 7 p.m., and the Canucks kick off the regular season October 9th against the L.A. Kings.  Updates in News1130 Sports at :15 and :45.
