Hurricanes win first NHL game of season

HELSINKI (NEWS1130) – The Carolina Hurricanes kicked off the NHL season with two goals from Brandon Sutter and singles from Jussi Jokinen and Anton Babchuk for a 4-3 win over the Minnesota Wild.
The 2010-11 campaign started this morning in Finland with thousands of fans packing Hartwall Arena in Helsinki.
The Canucks get their season going Saturday night, welcoming the L.A. Kings to Rogers Arena.
