Green Men make return tonight at Canucks game

By

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – It’s a triumphant return to Rogers Arena!  News1130 got an exclusive interview with the Green Men as they get set to stir things up for the first time this season at tonight’s Vancouver Canucks game.

Their goal is for the Canucks to win the Stanley Cup, so the two have a few cards… up their sleeves?

The two say they’ve worked pretty hard over the summer to stay in tip-top form for that tight green suit.  Force tells us they did the Grouse Grind a couple of times, among other things.  “We had to cut down on adult beverages, participated in many bingo games at my grandma’s senior home, that was very effective.”

Sully says all of his yoga classes will finally pay off tonight when the two assume their positions next to the opponent’s penalty box.

The puck drops at 7 p.m. when the Canucks take on the Colorado Avalanche.  News1130 is your station for everything hockey, tune in for updates in News1130 Sports at :15 and :45.
