VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – If you’re looking for something to do for the scary holiday, there are a lot of fun events happening this weekend.

Check out the family friendly Jack O’Lantern’s Spooky Stroll on Saturday from five to seven at VanDusen Botanical Garden. If you’re in the Surrey area, there’s Potters House of Horrors on Sunday. It’s safe for kids until 7:00 pm. That’s when all hell breaks loose and everyone in the 10,000 square foot Labrynth becomes fair game.

The very spooky Dunbar Haunted House is open right until midnight Sunday at 6478 Dunbar Street. Also in Vancouver, is The Scare Affair Haunted House. It offers thrills until Sunday night at 281 Industrial Avenue. Proceeds go to Variety – The Children’s Charity Lottery, which helps enrich the lives of children with special needs.  Tickets are $10.

The family friendly Burnaby Village museum has transformed into a haunted village with witches, evil trolls and grave diggers; there’s even a spooky circus sideshow.  It’s located at 6501 Deer Lake Avenue.

If you’re more into some fearful fun, there’s Witchy’s big mistake puppet show at the Silk Purse Arts Centre in West Vancouver on Saturday morning.
