World Series continues in Texas

By

ARLINGTON, TEXAS (NEWS 1130) – The Texas Rangers have to get something going heading into game three of the World Series with the San Francisco Giants.  The club is down 2-0 after dropping the first two games in the Bay Area.

The crowd should be pretty amped up with the Rangers hosting their first ever World Series game, but the home team has lots of work to do after two straight losses.

Texas doesn’t want to fall behind 3-0 in the series because the odds will then be heavily stacked against them.

Colby Lewis gets the start for the Rangers after going 2-0 in his first two playoff starts with an ERA of 1.45.  Jonathan Sanchez is 0-1 in the postseason and will throw for the Giants.

Game time is 3:57 p.m.
