Canucks beat Edmonton 4-3 for first road win

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Canucks beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-3 last night, for their first road victory of the season.

Daniel Sedin scored the first Canucks goal in the opening frame on the power play. Raffi Torres took it from there, capping off his first career hat-trick in the third period.

Vancouver gave up three goals, the first one from Dustin Penner in the second period. The other two came from Ryan Jones and Gilbert Brule in the third.

Vancouver has now won four in a row and takes on the Colorado Avalanche in Denver on Thursday.
