SAN JOSE, CA. (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Canucks will look to sweep their three-game road trip with a win over the San Jose Sharks tonight. The Canucks have won their last five in a row, including a win over division rival Colorado Avalanche Sunday night, which extended their lead over the Avs in the Northwest Division to eight points.
Mason Raymond returned to the line-up versus the Avs after missing 10 games with a broken thumb. The speedy forward scored the game winner versus Colorado and played a solid overall game despite playing on the team’s fourth line.
The Canucks recent run extends further than their five-game winning streak, as they are unbeaten in their last 12 games (10-0-2). Their last meeting with the Sharks was back on November 26th at home where the Canucks skunked the Sharks 6-1.
Game time is 7:30 p.m.
