Canucks snap out of their slump versus Dallas

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Canucks got goals from seven different players to beat the Dallas Stars 7-1 last night at the Rogers Arena.

Four Canucks broke out of their scoring slumps.  Mikael Samuelsson scored his first in 14 games, Mason Raymond with his first in 11, Alex Burrows with his first in seven and Dan Hamhuis with his first goal in 26 games.

Rookie Chris Tanev registered an assist on Hamhuis’ goal, which is his first career NHL point.

The Canucks went three-for-five on the power play.  Ryan Kesler with one of Vancouver’s power play goals, for his 27th goal of the season, a career high for him.

Vancouver snapped a four-game losing streak and are the first team in the Western Conference to reach 30 wins.
