The Giants try to snap a four game losing streak tonight

VANCOUVER – (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Giants try and snap a four game losing streak when they play host to Prince George tonight in Western Hockey League action at the Coliseum.

After losing right winger Michael Burns to a concussion two nights ago in a game against Chilliwack, the Giants will get good news on the injury front for tonight’s game.

Defenceman Darren Bestland (back) and forward Teal Burns (shoulder) are possibilities for the Prince George game tonight.

The Giants could use any and all reinforcements as they have lost four straight by a combined 16-3 margin and have scored just one goal since leading scorer Brendan Gallagher went down with a concussion six days ago.

The G-Men need one more victory, or one Seattle loss, to clinch a full playoff spot, although they have clinched at least a one-game sudden-death playoff spot for eighth place.
