VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Prince George blanked Vancouver 8-0 at the Pacific Coliseum. The Giants dropped their fifth straight game and have been out scored by a combined score of 24-3 in those contests.

Charles Inglis had a hat trick and one assist for the Cougars.

Chad Scharff was the acting coach for Vancouver, as head coach Don Hay was suspended for the game after the team was involved in its third line brawl of the season on Wednesday. Vancouver is getting healthy, as Teal Burns, Joel Rogers and Darren Bestland all returned to the line up.

The Giants are fifth in the WHL’s Western Conference with 71 points. Chilliwack is three points back of Vancouver heading into their game on Saturday night in the Fraser Valley.
