ATLANTA, GA (NEWS1130) – Roberto Luongo won his NHL-leading 35th game, as the Canucks edged Atlanta 3-1. With the franchise tying 49th win, Vancouver has set a new team mark for points in a season with 107.

Alain Vigneault’s crew won their seventh straight game away from Rogers Arena, which broke a club record for 24 road wins in a season. The Canucks goals came from Mason Raymond, Alex Bolduc and Alex Burrows.

Daniel Sedin’s nine-game point streak is over. He missed on a penalty shot in the first period. He still leads the NHL scoring race with 95 points. Both brother Henrik and Steven Stamkos of Tampa failed to gain ground, as they were held off the score sheet.

The Canucks now have a twelve point lead on the second-place Red Wings in the Western Conference. Detroit has a game in hand. The Eastern Conference leading Flyers are nine points back of Vancouver, but have two games in hand.
