Caps look for first-ever MLS road win

PHILADELPHIA, PA. (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Whitecaps will look to follow-up their impressive MLS debut last week with a win this afternoon in Philadelphia in the club’s inaugural MLS road game.

The Caps will be without captain Jay DeMerit and Michael Boxall who were both released for international duty for the United States and New Zealand respectively.

Davide Chiumiento is doubtful with a hamstring injury.  Jay Nolly will be a game-time decision in goal for Vancouver.

The Union are coming off a win in its season opener last week on the road against the Houston Dynamo.

Game time is 1 p.m.
