Car break-ins increase in Burnaby Heights

BURNABY (NEWS1130) – Drivers living in the Burnaby Heights neighbourhood are complaining about a big spike in thefts from automobiles.
Cpl. Brenda Gresiuk with the R-C-M-P admits there has been an increase.
“Since January 1 to May 15, we received ten reports of theft from autos in that area. That is an increase, absolutely, in that area,” she admits.
She’s reminding everyone to report all types of crime and any suspicious activity in their neighbourhood to the police.
