William and Kate leave Calgary for Los Angeles

By

Prince William and Kate have concluded their tour in the land of the Maple Leaf and are off to the City of Angels in California.

The royal couple spent the final hours of their nine-day visit soaking in western traditions at the Calgary Stampede parade.

They also took in an environmental display at the zoo, met homeless youth and attended an Alberta government reception.

They’ll have to pack away their cowboy boots and hats in Los Angeles, where they’ll focus on charitable work and promoting British interests.

The two will be able to relax a bit, though, when they attend a game of polo in Santa Barbara.

Will and Kate took part in a variety of activities while in Canada, including a cooking class, dragon-boat racing, canoeing and a game of street hockey.
