Contest winner to spend next 80 days living at YVR

RICHMOND (NEWS1130) – A man from Port Alberni is spending the next 80 days living at Vancouver’s airport, where he will tell stories from people working and passing through the facility.

Twenty-nine-year-old Jaeger Mah won a contest to live at the airport for more than two months and become its official storyteller.

Mah began his stint with an aerial tour of the airport and its surrounding areas in a Learjet before settling in at a makeshift living room in the international terminal.

Mah will live at a hotel by the airport and will be allowed to look for stories around Sea Island, the small parcel of land that also houses a number of businesses and waterfront parkland.
