Jamie Kehoe’s funeral being held this afternoon

SURREY (NEWS1130) – An overflow crowd is expected at a funeral home in Surrey to remember a teenaged Good Samaritan who was killed when he stepped in on a fight on a transit bus.

If the reaction on Facebook is any indication, hundreds of people will be at the Fraser Heights Chapel on Fraser Highway to say goodbye to the 18-year-old Jamie Kehoe.

The service begins at 2 p.m. and is open to the public. Coast Mountain Bus Company is offering free transit from the North Delta Skatepark.

Organizers will even set up speakers outside the facility for those who can’t squeeze in.

Kehoe died October 8th when he was slashed while on a bus. Police are still looking for suspects — a woman and a black man in his 20s.
