WHISTLER (NEWS1130) – The biggest culinary event on the calendar in Whistler is the Cornucopia Celebration of Wind & Food, Nov. 10 to 13.
Cassandra Anderton from Good Life Vancouver says job one is getting a place to stay.
“It’s just the biggest extravaganza for anybody enjoying good food and wine,” says Anderton. “There’s lots of great little packages around Cornucopia. I recommend Nita Lake Lodge or the Fairmont where some of the wine dinners are taking place.”
There are lots of events ranging from free to a bit more pricey.
“One of the things happening that you can drop into is the Viking Chef’s Challenge which is a chef’s competition and that’s a free event,” says Anderton, adding she’s looking forward to a wide range of food and wine seminars.
