NORTH VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Police tape surrounds a row of townhouses in North Vancouver after an early morning homicide. It happened on West 28th near Westview Drive around 1:30 a.m.
Neighbours called 911 after hearing a loud commotion.
When paramedics showed up they found a man and a woman with serious injuries.
“The male has since died of his injuries and the female is currently in critical condition,” says Sgt. Jennifer Pound with the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team. “Also at the scene was a third male who was arrested.”
When officers tried arresting the 27-year-old they say he was uncooperative and combative. She says all three people knew each other, but to what extent is unclear.
Investigators don’t know who lives in the suite and they’re still working to identify everyone involved. There is no word on a motive yet.
