Most adults have a maximum of two close friends

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – In this day of social media, you may be shocked to find out most adults have no more than two close friends.
According to The Daily Telegraph, 29 per cent of people in a test group listed more than two people, 18 per cent named two and 48 per cent listed only one person. Four per cent said they didn’t share important personal details with anyone.
It also seems the smarter the woman, the fewer friends she has! Women and those with a higher level of education had the lowest number of friends.
A similar study 25 years ago found most adults have three people they consider close friends.
