SURREY (NEWS1130) – A couple has been badly hurt in a crash in Surrey. It happened at 100th Avenue and 152nd Street shortly after 9 p.m. yesterday.

They were crossing the road when they were hit by a car turning left onto 100th. The 63-year old woman suffered serious head injuries. Her 65-year old husband was also injured but his condition is not known.

Surrey RCMP say both people are expected to survive. There is no word if the driver will be facing charges.
