TORONTO, Ont. – A teachers union is slamming Wi-Fi in the province’s schools.
In a position paper released Monday, the Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association, which represents 45-thousand teachers, says computers in schools should be hardwired.
The union cites research by the World Health Organization.
Last year, the WHO warned about a possible link between radiation from wireless devices such as cellphones and cancer.
