VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) - The Canucks will start Roberto Luongo in goal for tomorrow’s home game with the Anaheim Ducks and are expected to dress the same lineup that beat Calgary in overtime on Saturday night.
Defenseman Kevin Bieksa returned to the ice before Canucks practice this morning. The Veteran blueliner has missed three games with a mystery injury. Coach Alain Vigneault said today that while Bieksa will take tomorrow’s gameday skate, he is not expected to play but should play before the playoffs begin.
Aaron Rome (knee) was also skating before practice but also not expected to be in the lineup for Tuesday’s game.
Daniel Sedin is still out with his concussion suffered in Chicago two weeks ago but he was at the rink this morning. The Canucks did not have a new update on Daniel’s situation. Brother Henrik has picked up the slack with eight assists in the last six games.
The Canucks, suddenly in a fight for the top overall spot in the NHL host the Anaheim Ducks Tuesday night at Rogers Arena. The game could be the last in Vancouver for Ducks veteran forward Teemu Selanne. The 41 year old played his final home game in Anaheim last night and says he will decide about his future this summer.
