Maple Ridge murder victim identified

MAPLE RIDGE (NEW1130) – Homicide Investigators say the man found dead in Maple Ridge last week was active in the drug trade.

David Bourgeois, 41, was known on the street as “Tigger.” His body found in a home on River Road at Laity Street on Friday, March 30.

Ridge Meadows RCMP received a 911 call around 9:00 a.m. The BC Ambulance Service found a man’s dead body. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team was called in, and continues to investigate Bourgeois’ murder.

An autopsy has been done, but police are not releasing cause of death at this time.

No arrests have been made.
