TORONTO, ON. (NEWS1130) – It was elimination night again on Citytv’s “Canada’s Got Talent.”

In the first round of eliminations, which was voted by fans, it was between pianist Yuval Fichman, singer Vithou Thurber-Promtep, the band Angry Candy and actor Roger LeBlanc.

Show host Dina Pugliese announced that Angry Candy would be moving on to the finals.

After Family Circus was eliminated, the judges Stephan Moccio, Misha Bruggergosman and Martin Short had to choose who would also move on to the finals.

The decision was between the dance crew Daddy Cool and beatboxer Scott Jackson. By a vote of 2-1 Scott Jackson was moving on.

After the announcement, Jackson said he will be ready for the finals. “I want to put something out there that’s bigger than anything I’ve ever done.”

Angry Candy said they were focused on the next round. “We’ve got a lot more work to do, it’s going to be fun.”

Contestants are competing for the grand prize includes $100,000, a Nissan GTR worth $105,000, a Las Vegas show, and an appearance at the Citytv New Year’s Eve bash.
