Daniel Sedin headache-free at Canucks practice

By

LOS ANGELES (NEWS1130) – Daniel Sedin skated hard today at Canucks practice in Los Angeles and said he felt pretty good after the session but the Canucks’ leading goal scorer this season will wait to see how he feels in the morning before he decides if he can play in game four tomorrow night.

“First of all I’m feeling good, that’s been my main issue,” he stressed. “I really wanted to be back for the playoffs but when that wasn’t the case, my main concern was getting back to one hundred percent and that’s the case now.”

Sedin hasn’t played since suffering a concussion March 21st in Chicago.

Daniel says he’ll see how he feels tomorrow morning and he has not had a headache since last Monday after his first attempt to skate in a full practice with his teammates.  He did admit today that he feels that he is in his worst shape in five seasons because he has not been able to work out regularly.

Meanwhile, Canucks’ coach Alain Vigneault has decided on his starting goalie for tomorrow’s crucial game against the Kings but did not tell the media today.  Vigneault says he’ll meet with Cory Schneider and Roberto Luongo tonight to tell them which of the two gets the start tomorrow night.
