LOS ANGELES, CA (NEWS1130) – Cory Schneider made 43 saves and Kevin Bieksa scored the game winning goal in the second period as Vancouver edged LA 3-1 in game four. The Kings still lead the quarter-final series 3-1.

Trailing 1-0 in the second period, Vancouver received a pair of goals in a four and a half minute span from the back end.  Alex Edler scored the Canucks first power play goal of the series and then Kevin Bieksa’s point shot was deflected by LA’s Mike Richards to give Vancouver a 2-1 lead.

While on a power-play in the third period, Kevin Bieksa lost the puck at the blue line and had to bring down the Kings Dustin Brown on a break away. Schneider made the stop on the penalty shot.

Daniel Sedin returned after missing a dozen games with a concussion. He assisted on his brother Henrik’s insurance goal near the six minute mark of the third period.

The Kings still lead the series 3-1, game five will be played at Rogers Arena on Sunday.
