NEW WESTMINSTER (NEWS1130) – A New Westminster police officer who has been with the force for 24 years has been assigned to desk duty.

There was some kind of struggle when he arrested a 22-year-old woman near 10 St. and 5 Ave. Thursday night.

Police aren’t saying much else. Abbotsford police have been called in to handle the investigation.
