PITT MEADOWS (NEWS1130) – The two pit bulls that attacked some cows on Lougheed Highway in Pitt Meadows during last Tuesday’s afternoon rush have been destroyed.
Mayor Deb Walters says the decision was made by a bylaw officer.
“She continued her investigation and interviews of witnesses, and the dogs were deemed dangerous, and they were put down at 4 o’clock on Friday afternoon.”
Walters says the attack terrorized witnesses.
The dogs’ owner has not been charged and it’s not clear whether he’ll be fined.
