Convicted Vancouver gay basher goes back to jail for robbery

SURREY (NEWS1130) – A convicted Vancouver gay basher is going back to jail — this time after robbing a jewelry store in Surrey.
Michael Kandola will spend the next 20 months behind bars after the heist in June 2009.
Kandola was convicted on robbery charges, as well as using an imitation firearm.
The 23-year old served 17 months for attacking Jordan Smith in 2008 while the man was walking hand-in-hand with another man.
