Police seek suspect who stole more than $1 million in copper from factory

TORONTO, Ont. – Police are asking the public for assistance identifying a suspect, or suspects, after a break and enter at an industrial factory.
It’s alleged that at least one person broke into the Moloney Electric Incorporated factory, located near Steeles Avenue and Martin Grove Road, sometime last Saturday night.
It’s believed the break-in happened sometime between 7:30 p.m. Saturday and 6:30 a.m. Sunday at the factory, which is located at 35 Leading Road.
The thieves managed to escape with more than $1 million in copper.
Anyone with information is being asked to contact police.
