PORT COQUITLAM (NEWS1130) – It’s been almost a month since two men went missing from the Colony Farm psychiatric hospital in Port Coquitlam. Mounties have received tips, but still haven’t brought them in.

David Fomradas and Gregory Schleen are still outstanding. They both have Canada-wide warrants,” explains Constable Michelle Luca, noting they don’t know where these men are.

“Right now, we’re not worried about them actually causing a problem; we are more worried about locating them. Although we do ask the public not to approach them, as we don’t know what could arise,” says Luca.

“[It takes] police officer who has trained knowledge on how to deal with situations like this, to deal with people like in this circumstance. That is why we’re asking the public just to call the police,” she adds.

The two men disappeared on unescorted day-passes from the facility in late May.

The Provincial Health Services Authority is completing a review into the unescorted day-passes. No patients have been allowed out in the interim.

An external review is also getting underway.
