PORT HARDY (NEWS1130) – An earthquake has struck off the coast of Vancouver Island, about 200 kilometres southwest of Port Hardy.
The town is on the northern tip of the Island.
The quake had a magnitude of 4.9, and it struck at 9:22 this evening.
There are no reports of damage or injury. News1130 spoke to a server at an oceanfront bar in Port Hardy, who said no one seems to have felt anything.
