VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – The Vancouver Giants have added 19-year-old goalie Liam Liston in a trade with Lethbridge. The club also acquired Czech forward Ales Kilnar with the 44th pick in the CHL import player draft.

Vancouver is sending a third and sixth round draft pick in next years bantam draft to the Hurricanes for Liston, who posted nine wins and 14 losses in Lethbridge and Brandon last season.  He has two shutouts in his career.

Kilnar turns 19 in October and is listed at 6’0″ and 185 lbs. He potted 28 goals and 23 points with the under-20 squad for HC Vitkovice in Ostrava, Czech Republic.

Cain Franson will have company at the Canucks prospect camp this weekend. Giants forward Dalton Sward has also received an invite.

The 2012-13 season begins with a home and home series with Victoria. The first contest with the Royals will be played on Friday, September 21st at the Pacific Coliseum.
