SICAMOUS (NEWS1130) – The evacuation order placed over the Two Mile subdivision of the District of Sicamous is now lifted.

People in the area who were under an evacuation order are now allowed to return to their homes.

However, the area remains on evacuation alert and those affected are being told to be prepared to leave on short notice.

The Red Cross will distribute “Return to Home” information packages to those who were evacuated, as they make their way back home.
