SURREY (NEWS1130) – RCMP are making that statement very clear today after plans were made for a new chapter to move in to the city.

Surrey’s top Mountie says he’ll use every lawful means at his disposal to dissuade the bikes from doing business.

Superintendent Bill Fordy, who became the Officer in Charge at Surrey six weeks ago, says he has been talking with support units like the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, City of Surrey, other law enforcement agencies, and government partners and has strategies in place to respond to the Hells Angels expansion plans.

Fordy, formerly of the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team says outlaw motorcycle gangs are not welcome.

“If the Hells Angels expect to set up a clubhouse in Surrey I am serving them notice right here and now that they are not welcome. I will use every lawful means at my disposal to ensure they understand that.

Surrey RCMP says with help from municipal, provincial, and federal government, Surrey will be a very unwelcome atmosphere for any organized crime group.

He won’t go into specifics about how he plans to disrupt the organized crime group.
